You Want Value for Money?
Booking your hot air balloon flight directly with us means you’re getting the best value for money – with no middleman.
All of our balloon flights are celebrated with a chilled glass of Champagne after landing – a tradition rooted in the rich French history of hot air ballooning. We keep this magical custom alive to mark your airborne adventure in style.
Flying in a hot air balloon isn’t something you do every day, so why not make it extraordinary?
We’re a family-run ballooning company, and we take pride in offering a truly personal service. When you call, you’ll speak directly to the pilot – not a call centre. Whether you need help with booking, launch site details, or flight info, we’re here to help and happy to share our local knowledge.
Our passion for air ballooning began long before it became a business. We’ve been flying in hot air balloons for years, and we love nothing more than sharing the joy of ballooning with others.
All of our crew are CAA-licensed commercial pilots. Each year, they undergo rigorous flight tests, medical checks, and emergency training including fire-fighting and first aid. There’s a lot involved – and we take every detail seriously.

Fully Licensed
BB Flights LTD, trading as Bucket-List Balloon Flights, is a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) licensed ballooning company (DBO515). We’re audited annually by CAA inspectors to maintain our licence and ensure the highest standards of safety.
Long Flight Season
Larger companies flying 16-passenger baskets only operate from March to October. But because we specialise in smaller, more exclusive hot air balloon rides, we’re able to fly all year round – including the winter months.
Some of the most memorable balloon flights happen in crisp, snow-covered landscapes beneath a clear blue sky – it’s pure magic from above! Please note that hot air ballooning is weather dependent. We follow strict safety criteria and never take unnecessary risks – your safety is our priority.

Have a Question?
Planning a hot air balloon ride is exciting – and we’re here to make it smooth. Our FAQs page covers everything from booking, flight times, and what to wear, to weather requirements and location info. Got a question? Just reach out – we’re happy to help!
The History of Ballooning
The story of hot air ballooning begins in 1783 with man’s very first attempt at flight. The earliest passengers were farm animals, followed soon after by humans, flying high above Paris. Since then, hot air balloons have evolved with modern technology and improved safety, but the thrill of an open-sky adventure remains timeless.
